Recently, an article came out of Money Magazine that had the ten best senior discounts in America, and we want to share them with you! These are some of the best deals available for anyone over 55.
1. Amtrak
Did you know that travelers 65 and over can get 10% off most rail fares on most Amtrak trains?
2. British Airways
AARP members 55 and over are eligible to receive $65 off economy travel and $200 off business club travel. Trips must be booked by Jan. 31, 2019.
3. Kohl's
Shoppers ages 60 and up can receive 15% off every Wednesday
4. Marriott
Travelers 62 and older can save 15% or more on their room rate.
5. National Parks (Our personal favorite)
US citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or older can access national parks for the REST OF THEIR LIVES for $80. Only $80! If you love the outdoors, this sounds like a great road trip waiting to happen. Do note that there are other fees, such as campsite fees, that will apply.
6. T-Mobile
Customers 55 and up can get two lines with unlimited talk, text, and data for $35 per line with autopay.
7. Bloomin' Brands
AARP members receive 10% off meals every day at Bloomin' Brands restaurants! This parent corporation oversees restaurants such as Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's, and Bonefish.
8. Walgreens
Shoppers 55 and over, and AARP members, get 20% off all eligible purchases on the first Tuesday of each month.
9. Alamo Drafthouse
If you're 60 and up, you can go to the early movies (before 2 p.m.) on weekdays for just $6!
