Investors Continue to Price in News

As a leading economic indicator, the stock market is seen as somewhat of a harbinger of future sentiment. Every day, investors attempt to "price in" new economic data and predict company earnings, oftentimes with success. How has investor behavior shaped the market we currently see?

Well, there are a few indicators of investor sentiment, one of the most important of which is the VIX Index. The VIX is an index that represents expected volatility in the next 30 days. As expected, the VIX has skyrocketed in the past few months, but has since come down from it's high point. Will it continue to decrease?
