Is This Market Downturn Similar to Others?

Since the beginning of its existence, the stock market has had its cycles. The market will have highs and lows, oftentimes for different reasons and with different outcomes. Today, we want to discuss how this current market downturn relates to previous ones.

Additionally, we want to x-ray into several popular asset classes and stocks that did extremely well coming out of the COVID market that haven't been doing so well this year. Can anyone hazard a guess as to which ones we're referring to? Above all, we want to emphasize that short-term volatility should not dictate long-term success.
